We need to be saved.

“As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one. There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, there are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” Romans 3: 10-12

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

We cannot save ourselves.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

God has provided for our salvation.

“For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

“Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing that he ever liveth to make intersession for them.” Hebrews 7:25
